Happy birthday, Mom!

It is my mom's birthday this July 19, and I thought of making a birthday card for her for a change..:P And here's what I came up with:

It's the first time I made a "Center Step" card.. Got the idea from a challenge at Colorful Creations.

A first for my baby

My first LO for my baby Toby! He was born last May 15 and I just can't wait to scrap with him as my subject.. Unfortunately, didn't know newborns take most of your time.. ahaha!! I thought I'll have a lot of time to scrap.. ;)

Anyways, glad I was able to finish one though..:)

• Scrap it with a Song: Lady Gaga's Just Dance - I used part of the lyrics in my journaling - "stay and let me watch you".
• Colorful Creations - Inspired by the colors in the picture given

Emily's Blog Candy!!

I've seen a lot of scrappers offer Blog Candies to their followers and I really admire them!:) Aside from their generosity, I admire their work and dedication to their craft!

I started scrapping I think later part of 2009.. But I've been doing it on-and-off since then due to a number of reasons: no free time, limited space and supplies for scrapping, etc. Hence, I still consider myself a newbie in scrapbooking/card making...

So when I see Blog Candies being given away, I can't help but hope that someday I win one!:) It would really help improve my stash.. haha!

And Emily's 700th Post Blog Candy is the the yummiest I've seen so far! Just look at what she's giving away..


Didn't I tell you it's YUMMY!?!?!:) I think this is even more than the stash I currently have! LoL!! I sure hope I win this!!:)

I'll be on my maternity leave soon (our first baby!:)) and (hopefully) would then have more time to scrap.. and all these goodies would surely help me BIG TIME!;)

A "thank you" card

After such a looooong time, I'm so happy to be able to do some scrapping again! Although I was only able to scrap because I was on sick leave..:( But, as usual, scrapping made me happy! And I'm so happy with the card I made. Here it is:
