Ruffles

This is my first time to try adding "ruffles" to my cards..:) I love how it came out, and I'm sure this won't be the last time I'll do ruffles in my cards..:) Anyway, here's my card:

I am a Guest Designer!!!

This is my first time to be a guest designer since I started seriously crafting early this year.. HUGE thanks to AI Factory for the honor!! Woooot!!:) Head on over to their site ladies and check out all their cool stuff and join in on their latest challenge!;)

This week's challenge is: Anything Goes with a Punch. They don't require you to use AiF stamps, but if you want to use one, they have quite a few freebies for you. And here is my project! I did a card with a matching bookmark.. Like I mentioned in my previous post, I enjoyed making a matching bookmark with my cards, so I thought of doing it again with this one..:)



I used AiF digital stamps for my card and bookmark. It's from one of their Ella images: Ella at Peace. Love that image! Just pardon the coloring coz I only used colored pencils for coloring... hehehe!! I don't have Copic markers yet..:( My card layout was inspired from Get Sketchy's sketch#40:

Happy happy!

I got my prize RAK for winning a challenge at Colorful Creations last night! I just love 'em! I got so excited with it that I decided to scrap last night (which I usually do on weekends only, when I have more time :P)... haha!!

However, I ended up not being able to use any of the stuff... hehe!! Not because I didn't want to use them.. only because I decided to do a color combo challenge from Colorful Creations, and the colors of the candies are different..:P But, I'm sure I'll be using them very soon!;)

I am just sooo happy with the card I made last night..:) I was able to try out a few things that are fairly new to me..:P I just love how the card came out!!!

So, without further ado, here's my very chic and cutey card:



Not sure if you can see it in that 2nd picture above, but I added some pink chalk around the edges of the my paper where the butterfly image is.. Still not sure if I'm using my chalks right.. LOL! But I sure love that misty/vignette/shimmery effect it gave my image..:P And then for that butterfly, I paper-pieced the wings since I don't have markers yet for coloring stamp images.. ehehe!!

I also (just recently) bought a Martha Stewart edge puncher which I used in this card.. only my 2nd time to use it.. this is my very first edge puncher! and of course I also bought the matching corner puncher... hehe!

And then my card opens like this:

I normally just do the usual 1-fold cards.. ehehe!! I think this is only my 2nd time to do a 2-fold card.. I haven't really tried to be very creative with my card's orientation and folds yet.. still getting myself used to doing the card's design first.. LOL!!!!

Anyway, so here are the wonderful challenges I'm submitting my card to:

1. OCC Sketch Blog - I slept at 1am this morning just to be able to submit my entry on time for this sketch! LOL! I even don't have this blog post yet.. just pasted my card and a promise to update this post, just so I can meet the deadline.. ahaha!! because it already happened to me twice, I already finished the card, and then I didn't have enough time to blog.. then ended up not being able to enter my card..:( Anyway, here is their very very cute sketch#16:

4. Pile It On - Challenge#20: Out of the box. How I did my card based from OCC's sketch is entirely from a different perspective or "out of the box" for me..:)
5. Cupcake Craft Challenge - Theme#92: Black & Grey Plus 1 Colour Choice. Obviously my choice color is PINK! Hihihi!;)
6. There She Goes - TSG56: On The Edge. When I saw their new challenge, I really got excited! Because as I mentioned earlier, I just bought my very first edge puncher! LOL! Their requirement is for your card to have these TWO features: altered corners (i used my rounded corner punch) and a border punch (the flower punch) on one of the layers..:P Lovely, right?;)
7. Crazy Challenge - CCH#16: It's A Girl Thing!
8. Inky Impressions - Challenge#35: F.L.O.W.E.R.S. In this card, I used F - flower punch (I hope this counts.:P), O - for my polka dot paper, and S - for that sparkly pink gems..:)

Whew! Finally finished my post! LOL!!:P I think this is the most # of challenges I've played in at one time!:) I sure hope I win in some/most of them!;) LOL!

A-Z: letter 'C'

I had two entries for letter 'C'...:P I really wanted to just submit a picture of my mini-Coca Cola collection.. but I wasn't too happy with my shots, hence the 2nd entry..;) hehe!! anyway...

Here's my first 'C' for Coca Cola (Collection). I love Coca Cola items!! I have a small collection, but most of them are back home in the Philippines. These miniature bottles in the picture is part of a set bought by my hubby for me from his trip to the World of Coca Cola last August in Atlanta...:)


My second 'C' is for Colors. These are just a couple of the coloring materials I have for my crafting: colored pencils & watercolors...:)
