Cards, cards, cards!!

I have been pretty neglectful of my blogs lately! so many catching up to do.. Argh! so anyway, here are some of the cards I made for different challenges.. just wanna share them with you..:)

Here are a couple of the first few cards I made. I made them as for a sorta challenge at MAF*.. The hostess sent us materials to create things with, and these where the results for mine..:P

This one below if I am not mistaken was for a color challenge.. we were given a set of colors we could only use in our cards.:) I think it was at SSC*..:P

This one below is the first card I made where I actually won something!:P I got a digital stamp for a prize and I just love what I got!:) The challenge was called "Etch a Sketch" (at Creative Divas) where we just basically need to follow a sketch..:)

This is my favorite from all the cards I made so far..:P It's actually the first card I made which includes the inside.. and I just had a laugh doing the "message" of the card! Haha!! Oh, and the challenge for this one is also a color challenge at SSC*...

My First Pocket Page

My first output for the year! It's an entry to a challenge from Theresa at MAF called: Funday Monday Pocket Challenge.. It basically just asks us to create a 12x12 pocket page... I've never done any pocket pages before (in any size).. So this is definitely something new for me..

And it's also very timely since I just got married last December.. and we received a lot of greeting cards and envelopes from our guests... we collected them so that we'll know who to send Thank You cards to later.. so now I got an instant storage for our cards! Kewlness!;)

Here's my entry:

I used purple and blue paper for the "pockets" since that was our wedding colors.. Then I used one of our pre-wedding pictures, which was an excess of the table nos. I made for the wedding.. It has a note "Marriage - The state of being married to a person".. All our table nos. had a word that more or less has a connection with marriage, like commitment, trust, love, etc.:) I also placed a treasure chest embelly, since this pocket contains our treasures, literally and figuratively speaking! Haha! and of course the phrase "Thank you!" which is our simple, yet heartfelt message to everyone inside that pocket!;)

Memories Always - Forever

Last thursday (July 9), my friend Bhane (who has already made numerous beautiful scrapbook layouts already) invited me to join this new network group, created for scrapbook enthusiast: Memories Always - Forever.

Of course, since I really want to learn and create real scrapbooks in the future, I instantly joined and uploaded some of my digital layouts.

I was honored and flattered to immediately have one of my layouts featured on their site!:) I didn't get any prize whatsoever, and it's not a contest... but I'm super duper UBER flattered and happy about it!:)


Now, I'm making another digital layout... for one of the events created by the group.. I hope people like it too..;) Wish me luck!;)
